Does the original SwitchEasy Canvas fit the new iPad

The original SwitchEasy Canvas for iPad 2 has that groove and a clasp hold I prefer

From speculations based on how snug it was, the consensus seems to be that it doesn't.

But now that the new iPad come out already, can someone with the new iPad and the old Canvas confirm or deny this by trying it on?

Mine didn't. Got half of it clipped in but that was all.

Same, i just tried, it doesn't fit.

Definitely not.

To be honest I knew it wouldn't as I'd tried to fit the iPad2 with a carbon skin on the back and it wouldn't fit, so I'm not surprised or disappointed.

Looking at the STM Skinny now. I found the Canvas very heavy and the velcro poor anyway.
