Does anyone know if the AC3 bitstream is re-encoded at a lower rate or if it is ripped at the same bit rate as on the DVD and retained in the .m4p file?

Reason I ask is I got the idea to rip my favorite HT demo scenes in DD via Handbrake. I'd love to have my top 10 scenes to demo at will but there wouldn't be much point if the bitstream is (even more) compressed.

Thanks

AC3 is passthru. there is no encoding whatsoever, so you get exactly what your source is. No changes.
