    iPhone

At $800 for a Moto RAZR, $600 for an iPhone is a GREAT deal. Not to mention incentives and offers by AT&T which will discount it significantly. Remember, this is the ceiling price - it will come down after the first wave of purchases are made (one million on opening day is pretty impressive)

One million early sales is an imaginary best case, not actually expected. (And the RAZR doesn't cost $800 anymore--though it did at first.)

BTW somewhere I just saw mention of a new $1100 phone from one of Apple's competitors. Now I can't find it.

    EDIT: Ah--it's a Nokia: http://daringfireball.net/linked/2007/may#fri-04-smith_n95

It has a GPS (cool!) but is massively bigger and thicker than an iPhone, with only 160 MB storage expandable to 2 GB. And a much smaller (non-touch) screen with half the resolution, and apparently no WiFi?
