doom on your ipod!

    That is totally sweet!!!! Doom runs on anything!

    I used to have it for my old Nokia 3650

    anyone try linux on their 5g vidpod yet? It effect anything with itues or whatnot? I'd be nice to play doom on my 5g but i dont want to risk crashing anything

    The video of this thing playing on a nano looks freaking sweet. Too bad playing it with the clickwheel sounds dreadful from the control specs. :rolleyes:

    Makes me wonder why Apple hasn't upgraded its games...

    people may be a little leary about "voiding" their warranty.
    just a thought...

    why does it void the warrantee by playing a game?

    Have it running. Immensely good class time waster. I'm not terribly skilled at it though.

    It requires installin Linux onto the iPod which possibly voids the warranty.

    thats what it states on the idoom website, HOWEVER,
    there was another discussion here that talked about it...
    so i think it is ok.
