    To be fair, even the US Army isn't employing the tactics that the Shiite death squads are.

    Of course, anyone who didn't realize that after decades (centuries?) of being **** upon by Sunnis, that the Shia might be inclined towards revenge certainly shouldn't be president...

    But thanks to recent events, how can we justify this? We just said torture is fine against "terrorists". All they have to do is call them terrorists, and there you go. Plus, I don't see how taking money away is going to get them up and running so we can leave. Not that we should leave if they can't stand on their own, or they're torturing people, but if we torture people too, how is that better? This is just a crappy situation all around.
