Downgrading SMC Firmware to 1.4f8 ?

Hi,

has anyone here ever tried to downgrade the SMC Firmware on a MB? And if so, how?

I´ve got one MB with 1.4f8 on it and would like to transfer the firmware to my MB, which is running 1.4f10, and I´m really pissed off because of the loud and early-starting fans.

Could someone please help me with this issue?
