    Hello there,

I have found a REAL video on the internet that I would like to incorperate into an iDVD project of mine. You see, I have to do a video presentation on the East German Uprising of 1953. I have found the perfect video clip of this even that I would like to put into my iDVD movie. Firstly, is it possible to download a REAL video to your hard drive? ( i have gotten permisson from the people who own the video, they just dont know how to do this on a mac). Secondly, is it possible to import this video into an iDVD project?

Thanks very much for your time.

You can download and play Real videos using Real Player, but as far as I know, iDVD only supports MPEG formatted movies. You will have to find a way to convert it from Real Player to MPEG without losing quality. Real movies generally have crappy quality to begin with. You may want to search around on how to convert a Real movie to a MPEG (QuickTime movie).
