Dreamweaver and BBEdit Question

Is there a way in Dreamweaver or BBEdit where I can select a section of code? For example I need to be able to select, say, lines 1 to 10,000 at once.

I have Dreamweaver, but can't seem to find an answer to my question. I wanted to know if BBEdit can do this before I have to download the demo on dial-up.

erm... you can Click on the beginning of line one, scroll down to 10,000 and SHIFT+Click at the end of line 10,000 in almost any text editor
