Drumbeat

    I met the Groundlevel Software team at MacWorld San Francisco. They created Drumbeat, possibly the best peer to peer file-sharing program available. Unfortunately it is not available on OS X. You'll have to run Classic to get this baby to work, but it's well worth the effort.

    I connected to the network less than 5 minutes ago and here are my stats.

    “175113 Users, 59.5 Million Files, 1.93 Petabytes
    Connected to 40 servers...”

    I'm hoping more people will use Drumbeat and email these guys telling them to get on the ball about converting to OS X!

    I believe Drumbeat is simply a Napster-network client.

    to bad it suck
    paying 30 bucks to rip off software/music its not right

    this is new to me...never heard about it. how is it? this is only for mp3s right?
