Just got mine, loving it so far! Really simple and fun little games. Should be a smash alongside the other Touch Generation games.

Anyone else got it? Soon as I get this on WiFi I'll post up my friend code. Be amazing to play these games on a 4 player with you guys :D

It's called Clubhouse Games in the States.

This looks like a neat little game that went totally under the radar. Thanks for showing this, Jimmi. Maybe I'll pick up a copy.

EDIT: ah! It doesn't come out in the States until October! See Europe, you don't get the shaft every time!

Aye it's just 42 little games crammed onto a single cart. All but a few are available for WiFi play (A guy called Destruct beat me constantly on 5 in a row :( ). WiFi pictochat too. Some games are silly like "Shake the bottle" but it has online Chess, Texas Hold em (never played myself but it sounds popular), Reversi, bowling, snooker etc etc...

Here's the wikipedia article with all the game info in it

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clubhouse_Games

It looks like only 2 Solitaire games, and Escape are unavailable over wifi. But the other 39 games...with pictochat capabilites?!?!!? WOW! Incredible! I think I will pick this game up come the 9th of October!

Question: are all the games available over download multiplayer? I can't seem to find any detailed info on that.

I never heard of it. I thought ya'll was talking about the GBA games that I so badly want to get my hands on. I can't remember the name of the four games(not games really) in the series but they seem interesting.

I think one of the games was about you controlling a planet and swinging by other planets and pulling smaller planets into your orbit...something like that:eek:

    Bless

I absolutely loved the original GB version, just started playing the GBA one but it's top so far. So if this continues the pattern it should be another excellent little puzzle game.

Hah this is fun. It's great in that most of the games don't require super-skill at them. I just played a guy who clearly knew what he was doing, yet I beat him! alright it was the Balance game but still. It's great. Probably my best DS game so far... which is a mad thing to say! I could just live off the wifi here. Just had a few 8 player games too which is very nice.

    speaking of which - Friend code! 4639 3587 6957

Now to learn how to play these card games...

    WHOA.

I have to say, I've read the description of this game... not so impressed.

Read the thread about the wifi access being available on all but a couple of the games... somewhat interested.

Jimmi's comment above... WHOA. Somehow, I'm intrigued.
Can you play unknown players, say in the 8 player games, or can you only play people who have exchanged friend codes with you?

It's a Tough Generation game so it's got all the options and ease of use in the world - 8 players global, 8 players friends (with pictochat) whatever. And yea I know by the description it doesn't sound that good, and the graphics are nothing to write home about. but it's just such a simple addictive game. I had countless games of bowling and darts online before going bed.
Basically I think this game sums up everything what the DS is about. Run of the mill junk that is so simple and quick to use that it just works.

looks like i wasn't the only one looking forward to this game ;)

i'm going to pick it up tommorow afternoon / after university
i wasn't interested in it either at first but when i read that it had online it just sealed the deal for me

and of course not being a full price game either makes it even better

i just hope that the store will have it stocked *fingerscrossed*

how many games are actually online playable ?

I asked above, but it was mixed in with a re-edit so you probably didin't see it: how is the local multiplayer? Can I play all the games with a single card with my friends? Are there restrictions in gameplay with this mode?

I can't believe of all the supposed blockbusters that have come out for the DS (3-on-3, Starfox, March of the Minis) a collection of mini-games has caught my attention the most. Like takao said above, the online capabilities seem to have sealed the deal.

(now I need to learn how to play poker)

All barring a couple of Solitaire games.

Mavimao - I haven't tried out local multiplayer yet :) I don't think it will be any different than online. But again I can't be sure.

I'm going back on now ;)
