Er is it me or is that a store display DS?

People like that is why I didn't get to actually play a DS until they had been out for like 2 months. Everytime the stores would get in new display models some punk kid would scratch up the screens.

I should of been working in that store and catch him doing that....I would throw a PSP and the Resident Evil UMD movie disk at him.

What a dick, using a stores demo unit to try to break it. I almost cannot believe the level of selfishness.

That explains all the scratches and touch screen damage on every store model I see of the original DS.

well, in all fairness the PSP does have a laser and motor equipment so it's a lot more delicate from the start.

It's like how next generation with all these machines using regular HDD's they will all be very delicate. Whereas the Wii is using solid state memory built in rendering it much tougher. I dunno, durability ranks very high in my books. I don't want to be rebuying hardware from internal failures.

Oh wow a video of something not breaking. I can hardly contain my excitement. I may have to go and watch my paint drying DVD.

I think someone missed the point  little explanation- try as he might he could not break the DS Lite. He pushed, he prodded and pushed and it didn't break. See the surprise is that it didn't break despite the pressure it was under.

Would you be equally unimpressed if somebody pushed a MacBook Pro down a quarry and it didn't break? hmmm.

Um...I did know that you know. I was commenting, in a satirical stylee, on the utter pointlessness of it. I got over trying to see if things would break at about five years old.

I suppose experiments should be canceled then. seeing we know whats inside a frog we should cancel dissection. we should render class room experiments needless because they're pointless. It's to see how tough it is, to see how strong your investment is. Would it be better as an eternal mystery? everyone carrying their DS Lites in cotton wool instead?

Is it? Someone applies so much pressure to an LCD screen that it temporarily goes off, that plastic snapping noises are heard or somone pushing a laptop down a cliff? hell I've seen machines (might have been on Youtube) that only had the HDD fail from a huge tumble. hmm.

Dissecting a frog is one thing. Dissecting the frog in the display case at a pet store is something completely different. ;)

Of course, I've never seen a frog in a pet store now that I think about it...
