Seems like theres a few Ds owners on here, maybe they could answer some questions for me before I go out and buy one.

    1. Can you change the language of the menus?
    2. Whats the screen quality like?
    3. Whats the best games?

I mean the games that are worth buying, the ones that every ds owner must have.
The ones that dont suck and dont have anything to do with hugo (is that his name?)

Anyway I'm more interested in the screen/graphics really, is it as blurry as in the screenshots

In this order (only games I've played, only my opinion):

    Mario Kart DS
    NSMB
    Tetris DS
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
    Metroid Prime Hunters
    Advance Wars
    Mario 64
    WarioWare

    Those are my favorites.

Note that I do not have Castlevania, Kirby, Pheonix Wright, Trauma Center, and a number of other titles people tend to go on about.

Also, the best upcoming titles that I've played that will be released before the end of the year are, starting from my favorite and working down:
    Mega Man ZX
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
    Star Trek: Tactical Assault
    Star Fox Command
    Final Fantasy III

Those are just the ones I've played, in the order I'm looking forward to them (there's a few I haven't played like Mario vs Donkey Kong, the new Kirby, and a number of RPGs). Ignore my low rank of Final Fantasy III on the list, I've just never owned a Final Fantasy game so it doesn't come up high on my radar- it looked and felt like a very high quality DS game.

I just bought a DS Lite yesterday, with NSMB. To answer your question, the screen is fantastic. It is NOT blurry like you will find in most screenshots.

It's the best gaming LCD screen on the market. Brighter than the PSP and no horrible ghosting effects. No idea to what the pixel response time is but it's very fast.

I think that the screen is just absolutely phenomenal ( however to be honest, i do have one stuck red pixel on my top screen, I still need to call nintendo about it, ive just been busy )

    I have:
    NSMB
    Mario 64
    Mario Kart DS
    Metroid Prime
    Brain Age

and Animal Crossing is in the mail

Cheers for the answers, I was considering mario 64 because I missed it on the n64 (had a ps1), so thats what i'll probably get.

    Mario & luigi
    New Super Mario Bros.
    Advance Wars DS
    Animal Crossing

People also love Mario Kart. I personally found it a little boring. Advance Wars is like crack to me.

    Other good games:

    Trauma Center
    Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
    Metroid Hunters
    Brain Age

Just go to Gamespot and look at their top-rated DS games. That will give you a good idea of what's out there.

I personally find NSMB to be a pretty big let-down. I bought it and had it beat in a day. I then tried to go back and make sure I got like all 240 star coins, but I found that you can only save a certain number of times, so that made it impossible to complete the game without playing for like 8 hours in between saves. My game is up for sale on eBay right now. I believe it's still at $1.25.

    Daniel.
