Hey all. I'm using a second screen (17" flatscreen) with my 20" imac and for some reason it seems to be much darker than when i was using it with a mac mini. The brightness and contrast are at max on the screen itself, but I was wondering if there was anything in OS X I could do to push the brightness up?

If you're using an Apple-branded keyboard, there should be screen brightness buttons, which look like little suns. If you're not, you can find screen brightness in the Screen settings in Preferences. I don't know exactly how it works with dual screens though.

For some odd reason there's only a brightness slider for the imac display, it's missing on the pref window for the other screen
