I'm currently the proud owner of an 800mHz iBook G4, soon to be the owner of a 17" Intel iMac.

    iBook is running 10.3.9.

I've got WoW installed on my iBook, and am figuring out whether or not I need the disks themselves to get it onto the soon-to-be Intel machine.

I know about the "migration assistant" - does this eliminate the need for the disks? I did the "you get the two codes in one box deal" with a friend, and the disks are not currently in the same state as me or my machine(s).

Thanks for info/sharing experiences moving program files - specifically WoW - from an old to a new Mac sans original disks.

I had no problems transferring WoW to my computer without the disks. You'll notice huge jump in performance too on the new Intel machine.
