Hello. I currently have a Sony DRX-710UL External DVD Burner and the Logitech Wireless Desktop LX700. Both these products say they only have Windows support. I am planning on connecting both through USB 2.0 because my iPod will take the Firewire port. Will my new iBook be able to recognize my DVD burner and my keyboard and mouse? Thanks a lot!

I don't think the DVD burner is going to work. The keyboard will probably be ok.
What if I hooked the DVD Burner up through Firewire?

I'm not sure if there's a way to know until you try it. I didn't think Sony's drives usually worked with Macs, but I just found this thread:

And there's at least one guy on there thats says he uses one. So maybe you will have some luck with it. I don't think it should matter which way you hook it up though.

Thanks a bunch! I hope it will work. If not, I'll have to keep my PC. :( Oh well.
