My son made an Imovie file. I can copy it to a spare hard drive and get the Imovie to play but when i burn to DVD, I get an error message. I also converted to IDVD and I get a similar error.

    The message for IDVD
File is not writeable. An error occurred and this file seems to be write protected and cannot be openned

    For the Imovie file

This project cannot be openned because the disk is full, the folder is locked or the folder permission are incorrect. If hte project was on a C-ROM, Network server or locked disk then copy to your harddrive before openning it. You may not have permission to modify the folder.
    Any suggestions what is happening.

I've only made one DVD. I made the movie in iMovie, then exported it to iDVD, then burned the DVD. It was so easy that's about all I can tell you!
