Is it possible to use the output of s-video and composite at the same time? I need to play a movie on a projector but also play it on a TV as a monitor at the same time? Anybody have any ideas? My backup plan is using a computer but i would prefer to use a DVD player.

If it only has one scart output, then no, as SVideo will use the pins usually used by Composite video.

If it has more than one output, then yes. My sony DVD player has composite out, SVideo out, Component out and a scart out (which can use any of the video formats).

If you have both s-video and composite outputs, you should be able to get signals from both of those at the same time. I think you're good to go!
