I have a number of DVDs that I developed thru iMovie. These DVDs work fine but I would like to make some preview videos using FCE to post on the internet.
I have tried to rip the DVDs with HandBrake (I no longer have the original or iMovie files) and then import the resulting Quicktime MP4 file from HandBrake into Final Cut Express. I get the following error:

    Unsupported Frame Rate
Final Cut Express does not support this frame rate or the way it is represented.

Is there a setting on HandBrake or FCE that I'm missing, or am I just not holding my mouth right

use MPEGstreamclip to convert to DV instead of mp4... then you'll be fine.

    Thanks that worked.
Now all I have to do is learn Final Cut Express!
