I've got a Windows MCE 2005 PC for my DVR (which, surprisingly, MCE is an excellent piece of software) but the only problem is, the files it records are in the proprietary dvr-ms format. I want to watch one on my Mac, I tried playing it in VLC and QT with Flip4Mac to no avail, does anyone know of some other program that plays these? Thanks

    How about "WebGuide4" ?
WebGuide4 automatically converts dvr-ms files to wmv every night. Install WebGuide4 on your Media Center PC and access it from any machine that has a web browser. MacOSX may not be supported, but it works well with Opera browser (not Safari) and Flip4Mac.
