EA announces 6 new Wii games - INCLUDING GODFATHER

    Nice to see another Mature title one which is going to help lose that "kiddy image" some worry if we can get rid of...the rest you guys probably expected....




    Madden NFL, Need for Speed, Harry Potter, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, SSX and The Godfather are headed for the Wii!

    REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2006--Get ready to run, jump, drive, race an win with the flick of a wrist! Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS - News) today revealed six new games tha are in development for the upcoming Wii(TM) from Nintendo. EA's dedicated Wii development team i crafting six custom-designed titles including new releases from the Madden NFL, Need for Speed(TM) Harry Potter(TM), Tiger Woods PGA TOUR ®, SSX(TM) and The Godfather(TM) franchises. Each titl will remain true to the hallmarks of its franchise but is being designed to maximize the power of the Wi hardware and take full advantage of the uniqueness and innovation of its one-of-a-kind controller. Th Wii version of Madden NFL will be demonstrated for a group of elite critics and industry media late today at EA's Studio Showcase 2006. Additional titles currently under development will be announce in the coming months

    Ditto, there's no reason that the Wii shouldn't have it's share of Mature titles, especially since it's being marketed as a console for everyone. And the unique controller should be good (as has been mentioned before) for FPS which are usually rated M.

    i LOVED tricky but SSX3 and On Tour were just *meh* to me

    Harry Potter sounds interesting with the Wii-mote as the wand :cool:
