When I was a kid, I loved EA sports games (NBA, Football, etc), but they don't make them for Macs (unless I am wrong). Are there companies that make sport games for Macs?

Since PC has lots of games, is it a good idea to get the latest version of virtual PC and buy EA sports games? Probably a very dumb idea, but just wondering what you guys think.

I would get a playstation, gamecube, etc, but I just want to play sport games, and thus it would be a waste of $$ (or maybe not).

    Any advice would help.

VirtualPC is not for gaming. Save your money.

Consoles have much better sports gaming, IMO. There's plenty of sports titles for PS2 and XPox.

If money is important then the GameCube is the cheapest of the consoles (at least around here) and, as far as I know, all of EA's sports games are released for the GC. (Don't know about the availability of other sports games on the GC, though...)
