Early 08 MBP+10.8= Keyboard Media Buttons Not Working

Since upgrading to to 10.8 (all updates installed), I cannot play/pause, rewind, or ff a song in iTunes. Is it because my computer (Early 08 MBP) is too old, or should it still be working?

Do the other functions keys work? Do you find holding fn and then pressing the corresponding key does what is printed on the key? Go to Keyboard preferences, and under the Keyboard tab make sure there isn't a checkmark next to "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys"

After rebooting, it worked... weird...
