I have a couple of FCP questions and I'll have more. First of all..can you automatically set a video to fill the screen....without zooming in and dragging over and over again....and how do you get like a beep to go over cussing

MODIFY->Scale To Sequence answers your first question.

Drag the BARS AND TONE to your sequence, and cut out the video, and use the audio from it, it's a beeping noise that I use whenever someone is cussing.

    Here's a screenshot of it: Picture 1.png

Drag that to your sequence, then unlink the video from it so all you have is the audio clip. You can now use it to beep out swears.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you really need to read the manual. Resizing can be done a few different ways, either by dragging or entering a numerical value.

Turn on Image and wireframe, and as suggested before, I'd start reading the manual and start picking up the basics, I have no problem helping you, it would just help you a lot to read the manual that comes with the program.
