EasyHotel in London - £20 a night but no window!

The Easy group have opened a hotel in Kensington for £20 a night. The rooms are tiny and a window is an optional extra, but hey, 20 quid a night isn't bad.

I quite like the idea of this sort of stuff, like for their car rental you vacuum it yourself but last time I hired from them it was £35 for the day rather than £50 from Hertz, and I'll vacuum anything for £15 off. :D

With this hotel you can book housekeeping for £10 when you want it, which is better than having it every day from an environmental point of view, as well as the irritation of being disturbed.

I wouldn't put it past them! £1 an hour, like their internet cafes. And if you don't need the whole hour ;) , you can save what you didn't use for next time....

Is it legal to have a room you sleep in with no outside access there??

i don't know about you, but none of the hotels i stay at have fire escapes or even usually, windows that open :)

would be great if they did it by the hour... really convenient. for those uh, catnaps you need to take sometimes.

    :D :D

Then again, the bathroom looks fairly wipe clean. If you really want your money's worth.

On a (fairly grotty) side note, wouldn't there be a market for that sort of thing in Soho or something? A little wipeclean booth thing? A bit like those urinals that pop up at night time. Unless grotty alleyways and public toilets are part of the fun, which is possible.

I guess it's fine so long as you're not a claustrophobic who hates orange. Otherwise, it might feel like living inside a satsuma...

60 square foot is very small!

Oh what would I give for a life without Windows .....;)

I've stayed in places in London pokier than that, long ago, before a comfortable income blighted my bohemian lifestyle.

Now if you're a claustrophobic who hates orange, you might like a easyCruise even less! This is a picture of a 4 bed cabin:

And you say this like it's a bad thing that you said. I would say it was simply looking after his pennies, and any lady going out with such a resourceful young man can expect many years* of happiness. :D

*Or should that read a shorter period of time, like minutes, or seconds?!
