    For eBay, if you have to ask if it is a scam, you can bet the answer is "yes".

    link was removed so it must have been what was the deal any way?

    It was a 'brand new factory sealed 17" Powerbook G4 with 3 year Applecare -- lots of units available for £200 -- only available in pairs ie £400(!)'. Assumed it was a scam but couldn't figure out how, since the seller was a power seller -- didn't occur to me that he could have had his account hacked! Having a slow afternoon - sorry - thanks to the fellow who replied.
