Take a look at THIS SITE, it is an iWeb site with eCommerce. It's really just a link to Paypal I think, but I'm not quite sure how this person has done it with iWeb.

Looks like it's just a direct Pay-Pal/Merchant link.

Nice straight forward, to the point site though.

Yeah, I guess I need to explore the whole PayPal thing. I'm getting a retail site up at the end of the year and I'm not really sure how it works to be honest.

So PayPal obviously provide you with the link button and you enter the details of your items on their data base so it becomes listed there? Sounds good.

Thanks for pointing out what I clearly missed :)

Yah, you literally insert about 15 lines a code that Paypal provides for you. Easy peasy.

iWeb isn't really designed for e-commerce. For anything more than a basic site with a few family photos or a blog, you need to get a proper editor such as Adobe GoLive or Dreamweaver and for a business site, find an e-commerce script that meets your needs at HotScripts. It might be a bit complicated if you are a beginner, but would provide much more advanced functionality than a link to PayPal's site ever could. :)
