I'm curious, does 10.7 boot a 64 bit kernel on EFI32 based systems like the MacPro1,1? I'm just wondering if Apple resolved the issues that were keeping us from booting Snow Leopard in pure 64 bit mode on these machines.

It'd be nice for everything to finally be 64 bit from front to back.

Lion works fine on my 2006 Mac Pro1.1 but does not boot into 64-bit kernel mode.:(

my Macbook Alu late 2008 boots 64 bit kernel, normally it boots 32. (Leopard, Snow Leopard)
