    How impatient we've all become...

The iPhone 5 was released ten days ago. Give it time. Any case on the market today is likely to be poor in quality (relative, I know) due to the corners those companies cut to bring their products to market so quickly. I purchased a $40 "bumper case" last week that I promptly returned because:
    1. It fit poorly.
    2. It looked terrible.
    3. It smelled like toxic chemicals.

If you want it done right - with precision craftsmanship and quality materials - it's going to take some time.

There's another thread on MacRumors regarding the Element Case "Sector 5." Do a quick search and subscribe for updates from those - like me - who ordered it already.

I, like you, can hardly wait for the well-crafted accessories to arrive.

    Nathan

I have been searching low and high for a matching apple bumper like I had on my 4. The DX.com bumper looks like the one at target by the pics, but won't be able to tell until I get it. I am temped to goto target and get the $17 one, but don't need 3 bumpers..

There are cases at Target that match the bumper - 17.99

There is this case for $2.80 shipped. Slow shipping it seems. I ordered on 9/30, and hasn't shipped yet

Is it me, or does that thing look like it about doubles the thickness of the phone itself? Yikes.

I also can't wait for other Element cases to be released. Really wanting something in color. I'd like a Vapor Comp or Pro but would consider the new one if it were in something other than silver.

If you’re looking for a durable, damage-resistant case, this is where you want to start. It’s made out of aluminum aircraft-grade and a high-density shock-absorbent foam material that handles drops. Upgraded options include a Gorilla Glas screen protector, as well as Gore water-resistant fabric covers for mics and speakers. There’s nothing loose, rattling or shaking about the case, and movable parts like the dock cover flap and silent mode switch feel sturdy and unlikely to snap off anytime soon...or you can buy an Element Case:)

Would be cool to have some sort of stainless steel band. Not into bulky cases!

Yes, lame. Who the hell would use a case made out of cardboard?

Quit acting like a tool and either participate in the thread with relevant replies, or don't post. The OP was looking for bumpers similar to the Element Case that were available NOW. You haven't contributed a single response that's been relevant or helpful.
