I think Elton John's silly. Pardon me while I wait for Jay Leno to call and book me on his show to talk about what I just posted.

    who cares?

I guess I won't download his latest album from iTunes then, I was considering it from the e-mail I just got from iTMS, but now it just seems silly. :p

Who cares what Elton John thinks anyway? If it were Chuck Norris saying it, then I'd pay attention. :)

Didn't he do a Creative commercial? ...or some off brand of MP3 player. Where he walks through his house and hands all his chores off to his servants, while he's listening to whatever thing he has. Comes off to me as arrogant.

That gave me an early morning chuckle. Couldn't have hit the nail more on the head there.

If he thinks iPods are silly then that's his opinion and he's perfectly entitled to it. However, buying an iPod isn't half as silly as buying Watford football club. :D

It was for one of those portable satellite radio things. I don't remember if it was the one where you had to record the horrible sounding music while listening to it in real time while it faded in and out or the one that doesn't actually get reception indoors. Wasn't really paying attention. Isn't he the guy who spends thousands of dollars a day on clothes and CDs? That he was complaining about having to carry so much of it around with him all the time. If only there was some way he could miraculously load a bunch of that music up on some portable device using some kind of compression scheme that near CD quality. If only.

Is it just me, or has Sir Eltons hair made a comeback? It loooks like he has much more hair than this in recent photo's! :D

Elton means noting to anyone right about now. His piano playing isn't even that spectacular any more. Someone like, for instance, Ben Folds makes Elton look like a third-grader in music class. Elton's just being a snob, and to that I say, "Yeah, i don't like to steal just one song from an artist, I like to steal their entire catalog."

    1) Apparently he doesn't understand how the iPod works

    2) I think that he would prefer that we buy complete CDs.

I believe that is due to a contraption called a wig. :p

Actually, didn't he go in for one of those hair weave/plug replacement procedures? I don't know if he ended up abandoning it for a regular wig, though. If memory serves the procedure didn't exactly work out for him...
