I'm so close to having enough money to buying an eMac. Only problem is, they've stopped selling them to the public, you can only buy them from the education store.

Well, if you go to http://www.apple.com/uk/emac/ and click Buy Now, it takes you to the educational store. The eMac is on the right side, and from there you can buy.

I'm just wondering if they'll be there for much longer? I'm hoping to order some time next week, if not, then it'll be some time in january.

Anyone have any information on this?

There's still eMacs at the local CompUSA (which of course doesn't do you any good), I hadn't really paid attention to them though.

The eMacs are the perfect computers for schools. The mini and Power mac require a monitor. The iMac isn't sturdy enough for children to play with and is expensive. I think you'll see the eMac in the edu store for a while.
