I save an Illy file as 'pdf document' which saves it as an .ai file and I have the 'embed ICC profile' checked.
But when I import into ID and preflight, under the ICC profile column it say "none". Although psd files show the profiles OK.
This is puzzling and annoying, what is happening here?
Another question that puzzles me is what is the difference between saving as 'pdf document' which has an .ai extension and saving as 'Adobe pdf' which has a pdf extension.
