Anyone hear all the buzz about the world ending at 6:30pm tonight?
Supposedly the same guy predicted 9/11, pope, and hurricanes. A lot the radios stations out here are having fun with it.

    Ooo Awesome!

I don't really "get" all these end of the world naysayers and the like. The world won't suddenly EXPLODE one day. it'll gradually wane and go and go until *poof*

Maybe I'll get into my Documentary for free!

I thought the world would end in 2001, boy was I wrong.

    I now predict 2006, June 6th.

It was just funny to see the end of the world predicted at 6:30 p.m. and the post time in the corner registering 6:52.

Has 'the same guy' stated how exactly it's going to occur?

Should I take some precautions before I go to bed here? It's now midnight in London. Maybe I should sleep in some pyjamas tonight...

Sleep tight, everyone. It was nice knowing you.

OK, I've heard that all my life, and said it too.
But what the heck does it mean???

    Anyone here really sleep "loose"?
Maybe I shouldn't ask that

haha, it means to keep warm and the covers tight around you, rather than spread out and in dissarry where you might catch a chill, at least that is what i have been told.

haha, the world ending? this planet is billions of years old, it will live for a long time yet, althought the human race may cause its own extinction

Don't you mean 21st December 2012 AD? (Assuming you're referring to the Mayan calendar, which ends on that date. According to the Mayans, there is no 12/22/2012.)

Gee, shouldn't there be a memo or something that goes out to everyone when something like this is going to happen?

Doesn't that have something to do with the Mayans calendar? I think I went to one of those big conspiracy sites once, it was interesting, very interesting, very very very interesting. But most of it was so far fetched that you couldn't believe it if you tried.

    But Mayans are smart, right?

In the book of Revelation, I think God said he would destroy the earth with Fire.

EDIT: OK, it wasn't the book of Revelation it was: 2 Peter 3:7
