I got an iMac G5 yesterday :D and today I installed Enemy Territory. At first I got a 4:3 picture with black bars down the sides, so I went into the options and chose the sole widescreen mode (856x480). Now I have a wide picture, but it's stuck in the top-left of the screen (17", 1440x900). Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks :)

    Congratulations! :)

I don't personally use widescreen or even full screen all that much, but someone once told me of a key combination to fix this. Something like COMMAND-H or something from memory... I'm not having any luck with Google. Sorry.

There's probably a console command to fix it - in Doom 3 you enter console commands to choose a widescreen resolution.

I see on Apple's site that 856x480 is not a valid resolution for this display. Furthermore, my screenshot is in 1024x640. It seems that the display is going to the next available resolution, then throwing what it has up in the top corner.

    Edit: Aha!

    /seta r_customWidth "1440"
    /seta r_customHeight "900"
    /seta r_mode "-1"
    Then restart the game :)
