Energy Saver schedule not retaining settings

I'm trying to set our workgroup's 3 x G5s (2.5s on 10.3.4) to start-up & shut down on a schedule but on each machine the Energy Saver won't 'remember' the settings.

Every time I go back to double-check the settings, they've reset themselves to 00:00 etc on no days.

We're running a networked backup using Dantz Retrospect on a G4 server and I want all the Macs to shut down over the weekend after every script has been run on weekday nights...

I've fcsk'd every Mac & done everything I can think of.

Is this just a 10.3.4 thing or something I'm missing?

Edit: Or are the Retrospect client installations overriding these settings?

These are the kind of things that piss me right off about OSX.

Although I love my Mac, the small things that don't work are highlighted in comparison to the rest which DOES work well... you'd have thought that by this time, Apple would have got things like this right.
