even more deception: pretend reporters in bush's medicare ads

    The way this administration treats the truth is exactly like the way big business treats the truth - fudging numbers and "mistatements" that no one takes responsibility for spread over with bits of dubious propoganda. Even on the Washington Mall administrative buildings are draped with large banners proclaiming adminstrative half-truths. It's dispicable.

    Even before the medicare give-away-to-drug-companies bill was passed the adminstation was spending tax dollars lobbying for this bill. That's against the law.

    It seems that "bought" journalists are the only ones Bush feels comfortable dealing with. :D

    I had to read this story twice, then went to the NY Times site to see you were making this up!! This is unbelievable. This is not just deceptive in nature -- but I think that the government pretending to be media is blatantly illegal.

    "In Washington, I'm Karen Ryan reporting." Wow.
