Description:: Touting this week as "The Week of the Independent Mac Developer," MacHeist is selling a software bundle of some of the hottest apps for OS X in the hopes of increasing the profile of the Mac shareware development community. The bundle, valued at over $300 USD, retails for just $49 and includes such best-of-class applications as Delicious Library and NewsFire. Today, MacHeist announced that the award-winning text editor TextMate will be distributed to all customers, free of charge. MacHeist is donating 25% of each sale to a basket of high-profile international charities, and in just four days, MacHeist has raised nearly $90,000 for the various causes.
