I remember when I worked at a grocery store every pay cheque we got had our hours to date since we'd started. The same day I gave my 2 weeks notice the paystub I received at a total of 666 hours on it. I took it as a sign I was doing the right thing.

Several years ago I lived in Quebec City for a while and the phone # prefix in one area there is 666-xxxx. I knew a lady who called the phone company and made them change her number because she thought she would get possessed through her phone if her number started with '666.' Some people...

lol this reminds me of a Pizza Hut promotion from a few years ago.

You know the buy one regular pizza at full price get up to three more for $5 each? The ad's were along the lines of 5 bucks, 5 bucks, 5 bucks.

Well here in Canada it was $6. The pizza hut in our town had a big banner promoting it, but all you could see from a distance was the 6's.

    It was highly amusing.

We all know that Apple computers are evil, ever since the Apple I sold for $666.66.
So no surprise that MR is evil too ;)

I always make monthly backups of my dad's PC onto my external and one time the number of files was 666. That's what I get for copying from a PC.

It always amazes me how bad the text looks on Windows. It looks like someone has machine-gunned it into a wall rather than the smooth text of OS X.

Maybe it depends where you come from. I don't know how I found out but I've always just known that 666 is associated with the devil/evil. I suppose this shows you learn something new everyday. ;) Especially here on MR.
