Hi All,
Could anyone help with the below.
We have an office environment which has 4 iMac's all running OS X Yosemite and Microsoft Office Mac 2011 with all updates installed.
All four of the Mac's are connecting to a Ubuntu Samba Share.
Two of the Mac users are using the file share with no issues.
However the other two users keep reporting going into excel files, inputting data, saving, closing the sheet. Then going back into it and all data has gone.
Also occasionally when they have an excel document open on the share and they go to save the document, and it errors that it cant be saved. Same issue when using save as.

A recent file which is appearing in the folder after saving one of the excel files has a file name as per the below, and is recognised as an exec file.
E1A95000

Can anyone help with this, or has come across it before?

Many Thanks,
