    Hi all-

I rely heavily on my external hard drive(s) for my job, and I am about to upgrade from 10.3 to 10.4 when I get my new mac. My question is, will I be able to plug the drive into my old computer, put a file on it, then plug it into the new computer with no problem? Or will something screw up because I am using 2 different operating systems?

It should wll work without a problem, as long as you have the program the document/file was created in, e.g, Appleworks, iWork, Garageband etc:)

The operating system is still OS X.
10.3 to 10.4 was just an upgrade with additional features and such.
The basic Operating system is the same.
