Extra monitor for G5 iMac???

I recently switched from a PC to a G5 iMac. I have heard that macs can support two monitors. I was wondering if there is any way to hook up my flat-panel monitor that was used with my PC to the new iMac. I don't want the two screens to be mirrored. I usually have a few graphics programs open at one time and would like to have more room to view screens.

Please advise.
