I am looking at buying an Xrack to put an Xserve. Has anyone actually seen the item? I cannot find any objective review on it on the web. Apple now offers it on their site, so I guess this means it meets a certain quality threshold. Additionally, I was wondering if one can mount any industry standard 19" equipment in the rack. I have a noisy Sun 1U server that also needs a home.

Thanks,
Bubba

Hey yo, have those at the Computer Science Campus @ my university...No use man...Cause they still leave holes and stuff, well they have to, but thats how the sound escapes. maybe it helps a little, but for that price, its not worth it..

<in my opinion>

Do you have experiance with the Xserve? I am just asking because it, like most 1U servers is a screaming banshee. So maybe this rack just make the screaming banshee sound sort of normal. They claim it sounds like a normal g4 after it is enclosed in such case.
