EyeHome and archived DVDs

Hello all,

Well I just bought an EyeHome, and find myself with several questions. In this thread I'm hoping to figure out how best to display archived movies through this device.

EyeHome cannot display dvd menus etc, but what tools will prepare a movie adequately? (iow is the "main feature only" setting of Mac the Ripper enough?) Can I use the EyeHome to display full DVD quality video encoded w/ mpeg2 , or do I need to compress the video further to keep the bitrate down in order to have it display fluidly and well.

I recommend using OSEx, albeit it is a much more confusing program to use than MacTheRipper, because it can make a single VOB file out of the entire main feature. Eyehome will be able to play this full DVD quality file.
