You can now record and watch 2 different channels at the same time [only if they're on the same "multiplex" though]! And support for iPod Video. Woohoo!

Thanks for the info. I'm ever so close to getting one of these but I'm buying a new Dell soon and I think it might be cheaper to just get a standard PC TV card... The EyeTV is oh so tempting though...

I should say that multiple channels only works for certain combinations of channels. But it looks like you should be able to watch both Champions League Tuesday matches at the same time (for us UK users):

Loving the idea of watching and recording 2 channels at the same time. Anyone know how I can check which channels are on the same transponder/mulitplex in the UK?

Wow! Just got back from a long and boring 2 hour german business environment lecture to find Elgato have released another one of their updates which seems to add so much!

Downloaded this update and now you can have as many windows as your system will cope with and how many channels on that multiplex there is.

    For example 4 windows open on: BBC1, 2, 3 and 4 (DTT - freeview)!

But as soon as you change the chanel on ONE of the windows it changes the channel on all the windows open to a channel on the same multiplex as you chose. E.g. the screenshot:

And yes! you can record on and watch another - this is fantastic! Of course, i'm sure it all depends on how powerful your computer is - watching 2 was no problem on my iBook G4, but watching 3 stuttered!

    Any other info, just ask!

Whilst I could just wait a couple of hours and find out for myself I'm sure others will be interested: what does it do with the sound. Does it mix the sound for all open channels together or just give you the sound for the "primary" window?

Yep... although sound gets recorded (obviously) in the background, only the forefront window directs audio to the speakers.
