    Hi everyone:

I am thinking of selling my beloved 12" 867 Powerbook. It has an Airport Extreme and Bluetooth card, 256 MB RAM (in two slots) and a 40 GB HD. It also has a combo (DVD ROM+CD-RW) drive. The screen is perfect: no dead pixels. The battery is in great shape. I was thinking of holding on to it, but I really don't need three Macs. I would rather not put it on eBay. It will include a fresh install of iLife 05 and Mac OSX 10.3. PM me if you are interested. Cheers!

Well, it will probably go on eBay soon if no one is interested here... thanks anyway.

    Ummm

    Yeah...

See, I was hoping someone would make an offer first. I wanted to know how much the members thought it was worth. I've seen broken-screen models go for 600, while working SD models go as high as 950. I'm assuming mine belongs somehwere in between, but where? I am saying 750 shipped? (Lower 48 US). Nothing against you Britanicals (ety al), customs is a hassle. Also, I looking for a sale; I don't need any other stuff at the moment. I am actually selling it because I want a Nikon D70 really bad! Would consider a straight trade for a Nikon D70.

    Damn my spelling.

Apologies. Anyway, if anyone is interested, please PM me, or reply to this thread. Thanks! Oh yeah, the computer would also include an iLife 05 install DVD. Thanks.

    Thanks

I received a reasonable offer, on the low side, but still reasonable. If that falls through though, I'll go to eBay... but would rather not. Anyway boys and girls, PB is still available as of right now. It may go tonight though.

Offers might be a little lower here than eBay, however I believe the chance of getting a solid buyer is much higher (especially if the buyer can meet you in person).

Congratulations!! I have the exact same machine (867MHz RevA 12") but with the RAM upped to 1.12G. Unfortunately, it is my only Mac (cannot afford another right now) so I'm not selling it! :D
