For future references, the board, "Buying Tips, Advice and Discussion" would be a better place to post something like this. :)

Mods - please move to buying tips advie and discussion, thanks :)

I guess - but why trade away an iPod?

Life advice: never do "business" with friends - otherwise you won't be friends much longer.

Well personally I wouldn't do that trade but it comes down to what you want.

As for doing business with friends, I couldn't agree anymore. I'd say just keep what you have unless you really like to game or you don't like your iPod.

    Definitely.

Think about it - If you guys do the trade, and a week later the PSP he traded you breaks - and he's got your iPod, how are you going to feel, and how is he going to feel?

There is a thread just like this in the Wasteland, you got the deal you wanted -- too late for cold feet now.

Only he hasn't agreed to the trade yet - so it is not too late. That's why he's asking. ;)

    Ain't this the truth.

So many relationships between friends have been destroyed this way!

I personally would not make that trade, I think iPods are more useful than PSP.

You do make a good point! :D

Of course I am sure that it depends on which side of the isle you are on.

Personally, I would never give up an iPod for a game console. Hard to use a game console while skiing, driving, flying, walking, etc.

I think it is a fair trade. Its up to you to decide if its a good trade.

yeah deals with friends just don't work

Unless you're like me and have spent 800 dollars on red sox playoff tickets for the past two years for you and your friends so that your friend brings you to a few bruins games.

Then it is perfectly normal for that deal to work :p

No to mention, if the iPod breaks, won't you feel terrible, and what would you do? Your relationship with this person would be awkward for a long time. But, the iPod does have it's warranty (which is another thing to consider in the trade).

Good point. If you would rather play games then go for it but as someone else already mentioned the iPod could be used for a lot of different things. You'll only be able to play the Playstation at home or a in front of the TV (or a friends house of course).
