Feeler: iBook G4 and Mac mini G4

    I am trying to see how much i get get for the following computers...either alone or as a bundle. Also, I would like to see if anyone is interested, but I am not necessarily looking to sell right now. I might be. :D

    iBook G4 (latest one)
    14"
    1.42Ghz
    512MB RAM
    60GB HDD
    SuperDrive
    Airport Extreme
    Bluetooth
    2 years left of AppleCare
    includes everything originally in the box, including the box

    Mac mini G4 (earliest one)
    1.42Ghz
    1GB RAM
    80GB HDD

    I know the iBook G4 1.42 GHz is the 14", but I'm sure others don't. You may want to specify it.;)

    Otherwise, great machines with plenty of AppleCare! You should expect around $900-$1000 for the iBook, $350-$450 for the mini. Good luck with your sale!:D

    Thanks..I'll add that. My plans are to sell them and have enough money for the stock 2.0Ghz white MacBook. I was then planning to sell the stock RAM and HDD and but 2GB of RAM (maybe 1GB at a time if I don't have the money) and a 100 or 120GB hard drive.

    If I see a lot of interest here I will probably sell these computers.

    I'll give you $400 for the Mini. Just let me know if you are interested. I'm looking to buy one in the next couple of days.

    IS that really all the mini is worth? I mean, I bought it for close to $1200 and it's in immaculate condition. Did their value really decline that much with the release of Intels?

    Several of your BTO features in your mini are standard now. Once what was very expensive to add is now included as a base feature. Know what I'm saying?

    Yea I understand. I guess thats just what happens in the computer industry.

    Yeah, I would say $450 or $475 is the MAX you will get, even though it's such a nice computer. 5 months ago G3 iBooks were going for that much...it's crazy what happens. Anyway, those $450 to $475 might be more of eBay (with a nice auction layout) prices....maybe expect $400+shipping on here? Good luck with the sale! I was planning the same thing, but my 12" would sell for really low.
