This is a long shot, but if anyone is interested in a PowerBook 145b, 180, or 520c, let me know. You'd have to pay for shipping but beyond that, I don't really care; I have no use for these things.

    everymac.com 145b page
    everymac.com 180 page
    everymac.com 520c page

The only thing I could imagine anyone wanting these for is to play with, see how old Macs were, etc. If you've got some spending money, and would like a toy, check these out.

They all have adapters, and work at least decently. The batteries are gone or dead, so don't expect anything without being plugged in.

The 145b and 180 are basically the same in terms of hardware design. Trackball, greyscale screens. The 520c (trackpad, color screen) has some tape or something where the screen-to-CPU hinge is, but it seems to hold together fine. The latch is missing/broken, so there's some Velcro to hold it closed, which barely works.

    HD/RAM/OS:
145b: 80MB/8MB/7.1 (it has Connectix RAM Doubler, which is currently boosting the RAM to about 13 MB)
    180: 120MB/12MB/7.5
    520c: 160MB/4MB/7.1.1

The rest of the specs you can probably find on those everymac.com pages I linked to.

The 145b and 180 have the one-piece adapter with the huge plug, while the 520c has a two-piece adapter, so that the wall plug is normal-sized.

Make me an offer, ask questions, insult my PowerBooks, etc. Higher-resolution pics available on request.

    more pics

In the two shots of the ports, the one with the circular power button on the right is the 180 (the 145b is the same, but with no security lock on the left), and the other is the 520c.
