This is just a feeler to see what would be offered to me if I posted this here. I am wanting to trade this for a Mac laptop. Any REASONABLE offer may be considered.

I am generally looking for something portable or for a G5 iMac or PowerMac.

Specs: Toshiba Satellite M45-S265: 1.7GHz Centrino/1GB/100GB/128MB Video/DVD+-RW/RAM - Windows XP Home and a 15.4" widescreen. Quite speedy, I must say, though I was unable to properly install OS X on this beast.

Quite solid, yes. That is why I want to see what I can get Mac-wise for it. :)

LOL, yeah I know it was. I am just looking to see over the course of a day or two the best kind of offer is. Also, I changed this in the main post now, I am looking for something portable (unless its a G5 iMac or PowerMac).

    In response to a PM:

This does have integrated wireless (it is part of the Centrino platform) and the charger is included along with all original restore CDs and COAs.

The battery gets about 3.5 hours use while the wireless is on and about 4.5 when it is not. I have managed to stretch out the use to just over 6 hours but that had the screen shut off when I walked away for 45 minutes and the hard drive and fans shut down as well.

    Hmmm... yeah... uh... NO! :D

I really don't need a "starter Mac" as I have been using "starter" ones for the past 5 years and am looking for a Power one. :D

Potentially, if some cash is included (read PMs)

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE: There are 21 months left of Circuit City's protection plan.

I would also be willing to trade for Pismo+cash, 1 GHz Titanium, or Rev. A Aluminum any size straight up.

In terms of desktops: iMac G4+Cash, 1GHz eMac+Cash, or iMac G5 straight up.

Kinda tempting, if only the screen was LCD. Plus, if I got a mini, I'm looking for the 5400RPM drives that SHOULD be coming out this week. A CRT is just too big for me.
