    OK.. call me crazy i guess. ( i know i am )

But i just completed a trade recently for my 17" PB, I am very very happy with this 15" in particular, however, I am entertaining the idea of trading it for a Macbook. ( blackbook preferred.... ) Or i could just sell it outright i suppose.

    anyways.

    it is a rev D. ( hi-rez 15" )

    1.67Ghz G4
    80GB HD
    128MB Radeon 9700 Mobility
1.5GB ram ( will most likely be 2GB in about a week )

I've only had it in my posession about 2 weeks now. It is a candidate to extend applecare ( which i was planning on doing ) still within initial warranty period.

I would like to find a macbook of the 2.0ghz variety. ( ram and HD can be upgraded, but the higher the better. )

anyone looking to go back to PPC for photoshop? ( this is where you can call me a fool because i live and breathe photoshop ) I just am looking for an ultra-portable for my travels ( there won't be much heavy duty PS going on. i save that for my G5 )

just a feeler for now. but shoot me a message if you happen to be interested. ( i'm only considering this because i have seen a number of these trades already )

edit: as promised, here are some pictures. i just did a general overview of it, if you need or want a specific angle or anything, PM me.

and this is the very small ding that was on the PB when i recieved it. even craig doesn't know how it got there, but it does not affect the PB at all.

I can attest that this is a great computer because it used to be mine. :) I took very good care of it and I'm sure that Obsidian6 has as well. Don't hestistate to make this trade if you want a PB over an MB.

I have a good friend who is heading to college and is very interested in this Powerbook. I'm helping them research since they're kind of new at computer purchases, etc.

Can you post some pics? Interested in buying outright btw. Thanks in advance.

Well if you get an offer that's not quite up to par, pass it on to me. I might want to work a similar type deal, but my PB isn't quite as nice :)

there hasn't been much activity on this,

but... there has been a need for certain windows functions / programs as of late in my life, and i may actually really need to go through with this macbook trade.

    or sale then buy refurb.

    anyone interested?

this is a feeler for sale i suppose.

the last offer was $1350 but now i cant remember who it was since my PMs got cleaned out lol.

its a tough call... but i MAY part with it if the offer is right.

The rev D PB's were not the hi-res models/DDR2 Models. I think you have a REV E. Just FYI.

Nope, it's a rev. D. The 17" had 5 models and thus the rev. E was the hi-res, but the 15" had 4 revisions and thus his is a rev. D.

    17": 1 Ghz, 1.33, 1.5, 1.67, 1.67 hi-res
    15": 1/1.25 Ghz, 1.33/1.5, 1.5/1.67, 1.67 hi-res

So Obsidian6, changed your mind again, eh? ;) Hope you get the macbook you want!
