Filemaker 8 has been released by Apple. A demo is available for download, or is at least advertised for download.

There is another thread for this that is steadily making its way toward the bottom of the page. I'm very surprised it's not on the front page of MacRumors, I submitted it anyway. I was extremely surprised to see this release. FileMaker 7 is still pretty new and many developers are still not even there yet. I was certainly excited to download the demo but after checking it out and going over the specs there really isn't that much to get excited about, IMHO. Honestly, this could have been a nice 7.5 but to rush it out the door as 8 is a little disappointing.
